Would you like the good news or the great news!

We had another MRI this last Tuesday and you won't believe what the doctor's said....
If you remember about 3 months ago we had an MRI that showed that his tumor had grown since his last MRI. Well, this MRI shows that not only did his tumor not grow, the tumor looks smaller and we haven't even started round 2 of chemo. Guess what that means! NO MORE CHEMO!!!!!
Have you ever heard of a tumor shrinking without chemo? Well now you have. Tristan is not going to need any sort of treatment and will be attending school next year to get caught back up.
Believe in whatever or whomever you want but believe!
Thanks to friends and family everywhere that have prayed, loved, sent healing energy and everything else! It worked, you are part of this miracle! Love to you all -  the Kastner and Isham amazing group of friends and family

Another MRI coming in May

We got a bit of bad news about Tristan. Unfortunately it looks like Tristan's tumor has grown a bit.
2mm to be exact. There are 26mm in an inch just so you have an idea of how much growth that is.
The doctors had to go back 6 MRI's to even see the growth. The Primary's Children's board including Dr. Jay K. Riva-Cambrin (the miracle worker that operated on Tristan's tumor when it was originally found) has suggested that we do another MRI in May and Tristan may need to do another round of chemo. They say this round should be easier, as they don't have to be as aggressive in fighting the tumor. Chemo is chemo however and Tristan, Mommy and Daddy will all need lot's of  love and support. As soon as we get the May MRI results we will get the 'plan' posted.
Just an update on Tristan. He is in school and loves it! He is learning so much and growing so fast.
